Day 1: Arrive into San Cristobal Island
Arrive onto San Cristóbal Island by 11:00am today and meet the group and guide. Our first stop is the San Cristóbal Interpretation Centre, where we’ll trace the unique natural history of the Galápagos Islands from their volcanic beginnings to the present day. After touring the centre, you can stroll around the beautiful hiking trails or head underwater with some optional snorkelling at gorgeous Las Tijeretas bay.
Day 2: San Cristobal Island
Today is a free day for you to explore this spectacular island at your own pace. Spend the day on the beach, soaking up the sun and watching the sleepy sea lions that laze on the shore, or go snorkelling at a choice of awesome snorkel spots. Watch the golden sun play off the island cliffs and venture beneath the waves to get up close to gorgeous marine life (extra cost).
Day 3: San Cristobal Island to Isabela Island
Hop on a speedboat and whizz across to Isabela Island, the largest islands of the Galápagos. We’ll stop on Floreana Island for a break, and enjoy lunch at a community restaurant which helps support the self-sufficiency of the local people. Fully fed, we’ll continue our journey to Isabela. Tonight, we’ll venture into the dramatic foothills of the Sierra Negra Volcano. This is the heart of tortoise territory, so keep your eyes peeled for the unmistakeable slow gait of the giant tortoise as we make camp for the evening. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 4: Isabela Island
After a tasty camp breakfast, we’ll embark on a morning hike up the slopes of the Sierra Negra Volcano. We’ll traverse the lunar landscape of the lava fields and reach the rim of the volcano crater, where we’ll enjoy breath-taking views across Isabela Island. After our hike, the rest of the day is free to explore Isabela. Stroll to an enormous coastal lagoon and watch the pink flamingos picking their way through the shallows, or go snorkelling or surfing (extra cost). Back at base camp, tuck into a delicious dinner before another night under the stars, camping out with the island on all sides.
Day 5: Isabela Island to Santa Cruz Island
We’re back on the speed boat today as we leave Isabela Island behind and journey towards Santa Cruz Island at the heart of the Galápagos archipelago. On arrival, we’ll visit the Charles Darwin Station – home to Galapagos giant tortoises! The station has been a centre for conservation and scientific research since its initial opening in 1964, and comes equipped with a fascinating exhibition centre for your viewing pleasure! Breakfast included.
Day 6: Santa Cruz Island
Our penultimate day is free to explore at your own pace. You could hike along a path of lava stone to the spectacular white sands of Tortuga Bay or plunge into a cactus forest on the hunt for Darwin finches and lava lizards. A must-see is the beautiful swimming hole called Las Grietas. This mini paradise has stunning turquoise waters nestled between two rugged cliff-faces. Spend some time here chilling and swimming. Breakfast included.

Your tour ends this morning in Puerto Ayora. Time to head home or on to your next travel experience. A return airport transfer is not included but is easy to arrange.
