Explore the stunning islands of the Philippines on this epic 12 day tour. Spend your days relaxing on sandy white beaches, enjoying the seafront nightlife and cruising through crystal clear waters on a sailing boat. You’ll explore the picturesque ‘secret and big lagoons’, swim in natural springs, taste the local cuisine, try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding and swim with huge (but very friendly) whale sharks! All your accommodation and transport is included, plus you’ll enjoy the expertise of a dedicated tour guide and the company of a group of like-minded travellers. Day 1: Arrive into Manila
Welcome to the Philippines! Your group leader will be waiting for you at Manila airport and will transfer you to your first night’s accommodation. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the local area, hitting the shops or recovering from the flight, before meeting the rest of your group at a welcome dinner this evening (paid for locally).
Day 2: Travel to Boracay Island
After breakfast, your group leader will run through the itinerary and give you a full orientation on what’s to come. You then take a morning flight to Boracay where upon arrival you will grab some lunch and hit the crystal clear ocean and cool off after the journey. Explore the beach before watching one of the most stunning sunsets in the world and enjoying Boracay’s night life, right on the beach front.
Day 3: Boracay Sailing
We’ll hit the sparkling seas around Boracay today on our own private sailing boat. We’ll cruise past gorgeous coasts and stop off in fantastic snorkel spots, where we can peek beneath the surface at the colourful marine life that make their home in these waters. We’ll also uncover some stunning hidden beaches! Soak up the sun on deck, bask in the lovely views and enjoy this incredible final adventure. The boat trip ends as the sun sets before the group heads out for dinner.
Day 4: Chill Day
Today you will have the chance to chill out on the beach and top up your tan in Boracay. Enjoy a beer or a cocktail, take a dip in the warm ocean and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Day 5: Transfer to Moalboal
This morning, we’ll take the bus back to the airport and board a quick flight to Cebu. Once we’ve arrived, we’ll drive to Moalboal, which will be our home for the next three nights. Get settled into your accommodation and enjoy a yummy dinner with the rest of your group.
Day 6: Waterfalls & Natural Springs
Today, we’ll head deep into the hills of Cebu to visit some of Philippines most breath-taking waterfalls, including the iconic Kawasan Falls. This really is the perfect place to cool off and spend the day. Be sure to bring your camera too – this is the ideal location to grab some out-of-this-world travel snaps.
Day 7: Swimming with Whale Sharks
Prepare for a day full of unforgettable wildlife encounters! First, we’ll head out on a boat and swim with some giant (but friendly) whale sharks. Getting up close to these mighty creatures is a truly incredible experience. Then, we’ll take a short ride back to Moalboal, where we’ll head underwater to snorkel with thousands of sardines on a ‘sardine run’! A magical day!
Day 8: Transfer to El Nido
It’s time to board the flight and jet across to the gorgeous island of Palawan. We'll make the rest of the journey to El Nido by bus, where we’ll enjoy dinner and drinks by the beach.
Day 9: El Nido Beach Time
El Nido is a fantastic base to experience the unique beauty of Palawan. Today, we’ll get a taste of the soft sands and crystal-clear waters at one of El Nido’s gorgeous northern beaches. Go for a cooling swim in the sea, soak up the sun on the shore and get competitive with a few beach games with the group.
Day 10: Boats, Lagoons & Island Beaches
Today, we’ll board a private boat and head out on aquamarine waters to explore some of the Philippines' most stunning islands. We’ll stop off at some of the finest beaches around, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities for snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. Our destination is one of the most picturesque places in the world: the incredible ‘secret and big lagoons’! This evening you have a cooking class where you will learn about Filippino food culture and assist in making some dishes yourself!
Day 11: Free Time
Seeing as it’s been such a busy start to your Philippines Island Hop, you’ll have free time today to relax, top up your tan on a stunning white sand beach, and explore the local area. Bliss!
Day 12: Time to say goodbye!
After an unforgettable adventure in the Philippines, it’s sadly time to check out of your accommodation and say goodbye to your new friends. This tour finishes in El Nido on Palawan Island. A return airport transfer is not included but your group leader will be able to help you plan your onwards travel. To allow time for transfer and check-in, please do not book a flight out of Manila that departs before 6pm. You may wish to book an extra night of accommodation in Manila and fly out the next day.

11 nights of shared accommodation are included on this trip. You will mainly stay in twin-share rooms, except in Manila and Boracay where you will stay in a mixed-sex dorm room.
5 breakfasts and 1 lunch are included. You will need to purchase the rest of your meals yourself. This is a great opportunity to explore the Philippines’ varied and delicious national cuisine. Your guide will point you in the direction of the best restaurants in each destination along the way.
Your flight to Philippines should arrive at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (airport code: MNL) on your programme start date. We recommend arriving in the morning or early afternoon, so that you are able to get settled in and freshened up before your welcome meal at 7:30pm.
The tour finishes in El Nido on Palawan Island on the programme end date. The nearest airport is El Nido airport which is 20 minutes from the town. We recommend flying out from El Nido airport on this day. An airport transfer is not included but is easy to arrange.
Alternatively, you can take a 6-8 hour bus to Puerto Princesa airport. This is not included in the trip and if you choose this option, please book flights that departs Puerto Princesa after 7pm to allow time for transfer and check-in.
Please ensure you allow enough time between your internal flights at the end of your tour and your international flight out of Manila. We recommend staying in Manila for a final night after your trip and flying home the following day.
The minimum age for this trip is 18 years old.
It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary visa for your time away. British Nationals can enter the Philippines for up to 30 days without a visa, so long as their passport has at least 6 months validity remaining. All visa information is subject to change and you should consult the nearest High Commission or Embassy for the most up to date information.
Can I Arrive Before The Start Date?
Yes! Accommodation, meals and activities before the tour begins will be at your own cost. We can arrange for you to stay at the starting hotel. If you arrive the day before your tour beings, you will be entitled to your included airport transfer. If you arrive any earlier, you will need to organise your own airport transfer at extra cost.
How Much Spending Money Will I Need?
The amount of money you will need depends on your usual spending habits. Some people like splashing out on expensive cocktails while others prefer to travel on a tight budget. Fortunately, meals and drinks in the Philippines are relatively cheap, so eating out doesn’t have to cost a fortune. As a rough guide, meals at a restaurant will usually cost between £3-5, while a beer usually costs £1-2.

Varying group sizes
To begin with, many trips will run with amended group sizes, so you may find smaller groups than would be typical. This may vary by trip, or even by individual departure dates.
Whilst there may be changes on our trips, it is vital that you make travelling safer for yourself, your travel companions, the local staff and guides, and the people of the country you are visiting. You should follow all local laws and restrictions, and follow the guidance of the local team. In addition, you can help make travel safer by bringing and using your own face coverings/masks and hand sanitiser, social distance where appropriate, wash your hands frequently, and cover your face when coughing or sneezing.
