This trip starts at 7:30am on day 1 so we recommend that you arrive the date before and book a night of pre-tour accommodation - contact us for more details.
Please note, due to the current wildfires in California our tours are not currently visiting Yosemite National Park and are following a re-directed route. Please contact us for details.
Day 3-4: Las Vegas
Next-up: Sin City! This legendary place is a feast for the senses. From the 24/7 clatter of the slot machines to the ever-blinking neon lights, we’ll soak up the glitz, glamour and buzz over the next two nights. A party bus drive down the main strip is included to get us into the mood. You’re then free to sample the delights of Vegas.
Day 5: Grand Canyon National Park
We’re headed into the desert now to see America’s most famous natural landmark. The Grand Canyon is truly incredible. Peer over the rim and venture deep into the Canyon on the Bright Angel Trail. You won’t forget the sunset here in a hurry!
Day 6: Route 66 – Colorado River
No American road trip is complete without some time on Route 66. Follow this legendary road to Seligman, where you can pick up some American memorabilia. Then enjoy a rest stop at the Snow Cap Diner before journeying to the Colorado River for swimming and hiking. We’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel in nearby Laughlin.

Do I Need To Tip?
Although it may not be customary in your country, it is normal and expected in North America to tip waiters, bar staff, any type of guide and taxi drivers. Service workers are paid a low wage and depend upon their tips for their livelihood. A minimum of 15% is standard in restaurants. Your tour leader works long and hard for you. He or she may well become your close friend during the tour, but they also need to pay their bills. If the leader's performance meets or exceeds your expectations we recommend a tip of US $5 per person, per day.
